Default Misfire (Help)

Ok so I started my truck up earlier today and noticed a strong vibration coming from the engine. I strongly certain that I am experiencing a misfire in one of the cylinders. My first guess was to maybe check my ignition coil. However how would I know which coil pack is bad? I need some suggestions here I'm not exactly sure how to pin point this problem, and fix it.

Really hard to tell. Most the time I just drive mine Till it throws the light which I have a programer so I can check my light as soon as it comes on. But if its a coil u can unplug them one at a time and see does anything change. Are u can unbolt them and pull them off the plugs and listen for the ark but the easiest way is to wait on the check engine light. Cause it may not even be a coil it could be many different things.

Even if I used a programmer won't it not throw a code because my check engine light isn't on?

If its a coil it should throw a code eventually. It could also be a spark plug, bad gas, fuel filter almost anything really. Just drive it Til it throws a code then get it read somewhere. You won't hurt it by driving it. Mine is missing as we speak because of crap in the gas. Just changed the fuel filter and put treatment in it so I'm waiting to see if thy fixes it

Yeah I just changed the spark plugs and fuel filter about 1k miles ago. Also I purchased good gas last time I filled up. Besides those all that's pretty much left to cause this issue would be the ignition coils correct?

You can't relay change all the coils though.. That would be kinda pricey. Like I said just run it Til it throws a code.
