Default Misfire or ??????

Ok when I bought the truck the PO said it had a misfire due to the back plug not being able to be accessed. I change all the plugs and it idles good but as soon as you put it in gear to drive it starts vibrating like its misfiring and makes a popping sound when cruising lik a backfire. Anytime theres a load on it it does a faint buck as well. Anyone have any ideas? The plugs/wires and coils are good

You changed the plugs, but did you do the plug wires? I just changed my plug wires and it cleaned up an awful lot of my rough running. The wires aren't cheap, but man are they worth it!

Yes, I had a simular problem. It was a pop sound it made and it would kind of launch after that. I figured out it was a plugged cat. I removed them and it was completely gone.

It couldnt push out the right exhaust. I hope this helps.

I will do that. I really need to find a single cat full 2.5" y pipe for this truck too. The stock one is restrictive. I have a BBK O/R H pipe on my mustang and it freed that pony up immensely

bought new plug wires and fuel filter. Going to change them out tomorrow morning. Hopefully that will change this thing into the truck it should be not the stammering handicap it is now lol.

Also Im wondering if my 19lb injectors from my mustang (95 GT) will fit this. I know theyre good and thats my next swap out other than the cats.

Changed plug wires and noticed 2-3 injector plugs were off and the clips were broke. I plugged them in and BAM new truck!
