Default Maybe a dumb question

What are you guys using for rear lift? I only want about an inch, I'm gonna twist up the torsions bars up front and don't like the nose high look

you could replace the factory 2" block with some 3" or 4" blocks or you could do some add-a-leafs, each will give you good lift in the rear. add-a-leafs will make it ride rougher but it will increase your payload, blocks should keep the ride about the same

you say you dont like the front higher than the back look on ur truck, but if ur truck is totally stock then raising the torsions a inch or 2 will only level the truck out not make front higher. Also mind when u raise it up by ur torsions your CV axles will sit at too much of an angle and you will be goin thru CVs like once or twice a month. Also your ball joints will sit funny and you will be taking 5.000 to 10,000 miles off the life of those too. trust i have done this before. wasnt before long my wallet told me screw torsion lift and lower it back down. but if u dont mind all those problem (like i did) then go for it.lol cheapest way to go about this is put a leveling kit on the front then do a add a leaf in the back of a mild lift block. i think u do that for under $350 easy. hope this helps

hahah thems theres fightin words! there are quite a few people on here that will debate that with you, I know theres people who have had their torsion bars cranked for idk how many miles but a lot, with no problems, and after market torsion keys add a lot more stress on the front end so that isn't something I would do, but then again I do a lot of off roading

if your ball joints do go out the replacements well be used to running at that angle and not go out every often.
also by putting in a "leaving kit" compared to cranking the t bars its the same thing so theres no gain over either.
