Default Loudest muffler

I have an 03' F-150 5.4 liter that I want to make louder. I don't want to cut the cats off or anything like that. I just want to put an aftermarket muffler on since the stock one I have is going to need replaced. What is the best kind to get to make my truck sound louder and more beefy? Flomaster?

Define loud? Lol Straight pipe it if you want loud and deep with a good rumble. Thats my preference, may not be when the cats get chopped off lol. I had a 40 series flowmaster before my current setup, it sounded good at about 2k, but other than that just wasn't very loud, to me. There's a thread on different exhaust setups that has basically been made a video library, and there's always YouTube with a lot of good videos of our generation trucks.

Cut the 2 rear cats out and get a flowmaster 40. I cut my rear cats out and no cel. And it sounds awesome!

No muffler and less 2 cats, dump the exhaust just behind your passenger door. I ran mine like that for a year before discovering it was making my migraines worse.

Or leave all 4 cats and just go no muffler. I ran that setup for a while. Had good tone and was decently loud for the most part.

Now I have true duals with no muffler and all 4 cats and it is much louder but retains some decently good tone as well. That is except when the engine is cold..pops like crazy at about 1800-2300 rpm which I love, but my neighbors don't haha.

Aside from the obvious noise issues, I'd imagine having the exhaust fumes dumping out directly under your cab can't be healthy or was very good for your migraines.
