Loud Sputter

Don’t know much about cars, just don’t wanna spend the money to go to a mechanic if i don’t have to. There’s a loud popping noise and it gets faster as i accelerate

This would be my first guess based on what you described. the manifolds are known to crack and eventually form a hole to where the popping occurs all the time. What engine do you have? 5.4?
