I purchased a set of tires for the f150 heritage I recently purchased. The front tire has the spare on it. How do I remove the chrome caps that go over the lug nuts. The chrome center cap is on the wheel that I purchased the new tires for. The other wheels were easy to remove the center cap and remove the lugs.
i have tried to find the answer on Google but have had no luck.

Do they just pry off

 

yea they just have little fingers that hold them to the lug nuts on the wheel.

 

Makes me feel dumb sometimes. I can try that tomorrow. Starting to rain again.

There are two little grooves on the cap that you will be able to put a flat head screwdriver in either and pry it off.

 

the cap is off. Just the chrome cover on the lug nuts

 

ooohhh . Those do not come of .

 

Have to come off to get the spare tire off. I don't know why they put them on
