Default Looking for front tow hooks

Hello everyone and merry Christmas!

Anyways I am looking for front tow hooks for my 97 f150. Now I have been looking around but haven't found to many that are actual HOOKS like in the picture I have attached. I really like how these have the clasp that holds the rope on. I also have a picture of where they would be hooked up to on my frame. So If you know where I could find different tow hooks in the style I'm looking for let me know! Also post pictures of what you guys have for hooks!

Why not just put the stock ones on there. They're much more solid than those little hook setups.

I just like the looks of the hooks but if what you're saying is true that they are not as good of quality, I'd rather have the better quality stock ones. The original owner must have taken them off or something

Yeah it looks like. You have the holes for them. The factory ones are a solid forged loop

Yeah the original owner definitely had bull bar/ brush gaurd or hooks mounted to the frame there because he cut out the 2 spots in the lower valence as you can see in the picture. I think I'm going to check out the factory hooks, thanks.

That explains why they were gone then, you'll probably want to go to a salvage yard and pull the hooks, as well as the insert for the frame with the bolts to hold them, as it also appears yours are gone.

Junkyards: always a good choice due to good variety, and good prices. You can get some real good deals from there!

The stock ones look like this they are thicker then the ones you were looking at and they don't have a hook it's solid all the way around
