Little problem

When I fill up with gas she has a hard time starting but I give it a little throttle and she starts right up could this be of the pressure release of opening my gas cap its a 5.4 if tht helps

Never heard of that prob my 5.4 starts right up just fine all the time. It's got to be something more than just putting gas in, when did you change the fuel filter last?
