list of things to do???
i hear all the time, i want a new car, well babe your cars only 3 years old and it going to last longer then my truck. i made it very clear when we got married that no matter what i will put everything into that truck to keep it alive cause its always been in the family. plus i would like to help build my sons first truck, well she wants him to drive a car because she has a hard time getting into my truck on 6" lift because shes short. well what ever that boy wants is what we shall build and i dont think she understands that
ya im not going to let this truck die. Unless it totaled then im pretty much out of luck. But when engine dies, shes going to get a svt engine and tranny. frame rusts out. ill get a stronger lighter frame. Im going to be 65 and still be driving this truck

Had mine less than a month. So far I've:
Had the dealer fix a leaky exhaust manifold gasket and replace an bad O2 sensor.
Dealer also replaced a bad alternator and gave me a new battery.
$500 in labor and parts right before I took ownership. He probably wishes he'd let me have it at my first offer now
My first weekend with the car:
New spark plugs and wires.
Flushed coolant and replaced the thermostat.
Flushed engine and switched oil to synthetic.
Drained and replaced manual transmission oil, transfer case, both differentials, and power steering fluid. All fluids now synthetic.
Week 2:
Replaced front e-brake cable. No crap...the previous owner had wired up some clothesline wire instead of spending $20 for the right part. Also replaced e-brake lamp switch and now the brake light is working as it should.
Also replaced both power door lock actuators and the mirror switch and they work once again.
Installed new Infiniti Reference speakers in the doors and some used Polk Audios in the rear.
Had the rear window removed and resealed to fix the dreaded water leak.
Week 3 -
New tires all the way around and installed a new single DIN Clarion deck.
This week:
Added bug and window deflectors.
Taking advantage of the warmer weather to scrape and paint some surface rust inside the doors and just removed the OEM drop-in bedliner so that I can clean up and tend to minor surface rust there.
A new tail gate and polished nerf bars are in route.
Next month: new headlights, replace the front chrome bumper and lower fascia.
Might add a polished brush guard.
February: Have new tailgate painted and mounted and have some rusty areas tended to by a local body shop.
Spring: POR the entire under side.
After that: Brakes, exhaust, and shocks look new. So I only have wait for something to break or wear out.
