Quick question guys, tried looking couldn't really find what I was looking for I know we've discussed it before when talking about puddle lights, but I've got two led strips laying around id like to tap into my passenger side and driver side doors that will come on when I open the door. Where is the best place to splice into for this? Thanks!!! I should also mention I've done a fair bit of electrical work so I'll be able to keep up, any help is better than nothing!

I'm gonna add-a-fuse into the panel, so much easier.

I would just tap into the door switch. The led's dont have a high current draw. Its point less to add in another fuse for no reason.

I tapped into my dome light down under the passenger kick panel. Now if I open my door or press unlock the lights come on. Took like 2mins to add it in. Longest part was sticking the lights on under the truck

The add a fuse didn't work, because the fuse is constant hot, should have known... But had that worked it would have been a lot easier considering theres one cover to get to the fuse panel vs taking the door apart and what not pretty simple concept and took all of 4 minutes.. so i ended up going through the passenger side door grommet and tapped all the lights into that door socket. Everything works perfectly, comes in when doors open, goes off when they go off.
