It's a terrible miss in cyl. #3. New Plugs, Coil Packs, Injectors didnt fix it.
Maybe a Vacuume leak? I should probably remove the Intake Mani and see If I can find anything.
Probably like 10mpg. City/highway mixed.

I gotta fix my bmw before I can tear anything apart on the truck.
Hope to do that this week.

Not trying to jack this thread though. I thought I made a thread about it, Maybe not. If I didn't I need to.

Edit: Either of these threads we can move that convo to. I appreciate the help.

Anyone have a white tenth gen with chrome shrouds and buckets and lives in north east Arkansas. I saw someone today who had that and one clean truck. Don't think it was @browningscrew

this shows were I trimmed them, and I also nocked down a little ridge that wouldn't let the shroud seat flush to the projector (paint the shrouds now if youre wanting something custom)

At this point you want to oil your cutoff shield whih will ensure that they dont stick down the road. I used WD-40 Silicon grease, then I used the 9v battery to cycle my shield 15x simulating use to make sure they worked good and would not seize. make sure you dont get lube on the projector glass. The red arrow points to the joint you want.

Now using your glass cleaning wipes, make sure there is no lint or smudges on your projector lense, wipe the inside and out thuroughly.

Next align the screw holes on the projector up with the shrouds (note that they only go on ONE way) and use the small screws povided and set the whole thing aside in safe place for now.

Now you will take your drill bit and(careful not to scratch the chrome) drill out the existing hole in the back of the shrouds to run your cutoff control wires through, just test fit until they go through. Red arrow in both pics

at this point if you want your housing painted black or a custom color, get it done and let it dry before you proceed

Now place the smaller rubber washer onto the shaft of the projector, this helps it stay put and not vibrate around

keep scrolling its getting good
I just got this done in one evening. BIG thanks to you sir!

I know a few of you guys where saying a while back that you are having radio inference issues with the retrofit. Well after trying all different grounding locations, ferrite rings, and adding in diodes to prevent back flow and still experiencing the issue, I tried new ballast and the problem went away. Right now I'm just using the cheap eBay ballast from my Hellas, but there is no interference. The issue seems to be only with the xb35 ballast, my xb55s don't have any issues. TRS offers a few different brands of ballast now I'm so if someone is about to do this project and wants to run 35 watt I recommend the hylux ballast or an OEM ballast. The hylux are cheaper than the XBs tho

But TRS did just update there xb ballast so maybe the radio static issue is fixed with the new ones
