Default Factory Lift? Also, XLT or XL?

I have a 2001 f150 4x4 supercab 4.6L V8 with off road package.

Do I have any lift or is it stock?
It sits higher than many trucks even when I didn't have these 285/70/17's on it.

And yes, I've taken care of the axle seal/bearings that use to leak.

I can go measure and see what my fender height is in a little bit.

I ASK because I see small 2" lift kits everywhere from rough country etc... for under 200 front/rear. If this will raise my truck then I'd do it.
I don't want anything more than 2" higher than I am.
I just put these tires on, hopefully they won't look dumb.

Okay, Question #2. (trying to not create extra unneeded threads)

I have a XLT badge/TritonV8.

I've tried entered my VIN in the decoder and it says it's an XL...

But, When i'm searching for specs it says my xlt doesn't exist because
it's automatic. Autozone's system says my configuration was only like 10% of f150's made.
Sure someone could have put the xlt badge on there but seems pretty dumb.
I'm just trying to track down exactly what I have.

Rear block looks stock. And it says my King ranch is a XLT so it's wrong. XL's had manual mirrors ( I believe they all did )

Looks all stock to me. Measure from the center of your hub up to fender and we will know what's going on. Looks like new shackles but they look stock too.

Also those cheap lifts only allow for the tbars to be turned up past the safe limit. I wouldn't go for it if it were my truck.

It's been leveled already. No more lifting unless you get a 4" suspension lift.

Couple different answers...

So I got a few more questions. No reason in making a new thread.
Ive been searching, and do I have the 2v or 3 valve.
I have a cast intake manifold... are the plastic ones better? I found one in
a local yard with what looks like a bunch of new parts. I'm willing to swap if they are better...

Also, I have this intake and throttle body spacer. Are they doing any harm?
sure powa is nice, but this is a beater truck I got at an auction. I'm more worried about it running right than all done up...

My motor

Junkyard f150

There was also this truck bed which is rust free. Mine is rusted through.
I can get this entire bed for $159.99..... I feel like that's worth it. Color doesn't matter. I will probably get it all painted.

Looks alot better than the back of my bed....

Rear is stock, you might have a T-bar crank in the front. The max measurement from the center of the hub to the fender is 24.25".

As far as trim level goes, I don't think that's an XL. As jprevet pointed out, the mirrors aren't manual. Not only that but I think that XLs have a black bumper cover on the top whereas yours is PTM to your trim. Also your bumper has fog lights, I don't think the XL's had factory fog lights, may have been an option but not sure on that. I don't think XL grills are honey comb with a PTM grill surround, I think they are a 4 bar with a chrome grill surround. And lastly, I'm not sure if the XL's had two tone, but I think all the XL fender flares from 4x4's where black. Someone more knowledgeable in this could confirm or correct all this, I'm pretty sure it's correct but not sure on all of it.

Thanks, I also found some metal tags on the frame that are stamped XLT
so I believe I figured it out. I'll run with xlt.

You have a 2v, I think 3v started in either 2004 or 2009.

As far as the t-body spacer, I've heard they do harm and they do good, I think it's a matter of opinion. I don't run one because I don't have a need lol. As far as the intake, it doesn't look stock, I personally am not the biggest fan of chrome in the engine bay.

On that junkyard truck, is that a 7 lug truck? If it is it might be worth grabbing a new parts off it like the leaf springs because the 7700's are hard to find.

You have a 2v engine. A lot of people would buy that intake manifold from you for port and polish. Definitely buy the bed for 160. That intake and throttle body spacer aren't helping but they aren't hurting either.

Alright thanks guys. I bought the truck with the intake/TBS so im not worried about removing it if it's not hurting it. Yeah, I want to paint the intake...

The junkyard truck is a 5lug, but I think I did see some with 7 lugs....

There is also this tag for some kind of a computer flash.

I am chasing a miss but think it might be a burned valve.
