I really liked how the raptors have the running lights in there grill, so i when to the auto parts store and bought some marker lights, put night shade on them to make them blend in with the grill and stuck them up under my grill and wired them to the blinkers and i liked how they turned out! And no there not wired to my running lights, but i might buy two more and put them under the emblem and wire them to my running lights
What you guys think?

if u had a mesh grill insert i think it'd look alot better, just my 2 cents!

How much in the way of wiring did you have to do? It's a neat mod.

it wasn't that bad, I just used a volt meter to see which wire going into the running light was the blinker, and then cut it and sent a wire from that going to the other light. Its really easy if you take the headlight out and unplug it from the light. I cut the wire about 3 inches from where the wires plug into the light. It turns out to be a white wire with a green stripe going down it that you cut to wire it to the blinker

It'd be sweet if someone managed to make a grill insert which has the three lights in it, and the revised FORD logo like the Raptor has for the other truck years. One of the neatest cosmetic features of the Raptor, if you ask me, is that grill.

I really like that idea actually, i have a 97 also. How did you rig them to your turn signals. If you could post directions on how to do that that would be awesome. Thanks.

I can take pics tomorrow and explain it better, but essentially, you unplug the the wiring harness from the blinker, then there are three wires, two black and a a white with green stripe on it. The white with green stripe is the blinkers. What i did was go down about three inches were the wires plug into the corner light and cut the wire. I then connected the wire with another wire going to the marker light. It hard to explain without pics but I'll post up pics tomorrow of how i did it.
