Default Light bar on Cowl?

I was wondering if anyone had put a light bar on their cowl, and if so, did you get alot of splash back from the hood?

I am sure you would get a bunch of splash back. It's literally right on top of the hood. But, I have no experience.

It would be worthless with the amount of light hitting the hood not to mention dumb looking IMO

I was just thinking of different areas to put my 20in bull bar, I guess I'm going behind the grill, there's no other solution for me, I don't want to put it on top of my bull bar, Im putting 3x4 cubes on my bull bar already

I knew someone that put a 42 where his wiper sprayer were. No splash back. But it looked stupid.

Cut a hole in your bumper and flush mount it.

Cut a hole in your grill and flush mount it there

Behind the grill

Such a small bar would look silly on top of the hood/cowling.

As does any visible light bar on a DD driving in the city. Put it behind your grill, hidden until needed.

And don't be that doooch driving down main street with it on. Nothing says, "I'm a 16 year old looking for a ticket" like that does.

I'm not the op. I believe that's what that was meant for. I agree 100% mines behind my grill. And mine don't come on while I'm driving on city streets
