Default Lifter noise?

So my search box doesn't work and I'm getting really irritated with a tick (not a knock) that I believe is a lifter. But I'm wondering if maybe it could be a loose spark plug. Idk I'm just sick of hearing the noise and I need some advice.

You sure it's not a manifold leak? If not throw some crc engine restore in it they have 6 and 8 cylinder formulas. I had an old yota that had a bad lifter stuck threw some of that in it and never had a problem again. I knew when I was time to change the oil cause it would start ticking again. Change the oil and a new can of engine restore and it would stop.

I will definitely do that, can I pick it up at any local auto parts store?
