Default Grill Repainting

So the grill on my truck has gotten really sunbleached in the 12 years we've had it. It's a gross grayish color with white splotches. Can I remove it/ repaint it without taking the entire front off of the truck?
Thanks

Need a smaller bar lol that think would look too big on a Superduty.

If you absolutely want to take the grille out, remove the cowl cover, reach in there and start pushing from the outside while releasing the clips on the inside. It should just pop that insert out.

I took mine off, it wasn't hard. I used the thread on here about removing it, I just used the search to find it. Took maybe 30 mins total and did 3 coats.

Nah,I've seen the bar on a truck without a body lift and it looked perfect. I just need to raise it.

Not that bar... It's way bigger than the standard bar for these trucks. See how much smaller mine was, only came up to the top of the bumper at proper height. Yours would go half way up the grille.

I want the top of it half way between the bottom of the grill and the bottom of the emblem. When I got it I was going for the bulky "get the **** out my way" look lol. I guess it is a little big,but you can tell from the pictures I've seen of it online,in person it really doesn't look out of place besides being low and having those brackets stick out so much. This is the one I bought, and judging by the picture I didn't get the bar I ordered http://www.ebay.com/itm/T-304-S-S-BULL-BAR-brush-push-bumper-grill-guard-97-03-F150-F250-LD-EXPEDITION-C-/370819796886?fits=Year%3A2000%7CModel%3AF-150&autorefresh=true&pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item5656950f96&nma=true&si=%252FjeldKeZDf9Q2XkikVgJ3WEv6mc%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557#ht_6176wt_1255

How much did your bar run you? And do you still have it? I know it's not on the truck anymore.

It was $300 new. It's just in my shop right now with my running bars.
