Default lift help pleaae

I have a 2001 f150 v6 4.2 motor has been rebuilt and tranny has also been rebuilt with shift kit put in and I wanna know if I I am ok to lift my truck and go bigger tires just don't want to kill the motor or tranny help please

I figured with only being a v6 a lift and bigger tire would kill my motor and tranny

just put new gears in the rear end to return the ration of revs per mile back to stock

Don't plan on going bigger than 18 might do thicker tire wanna do a 3 in body lift should I get leveling kit or will lift kit level it out

A body lift is a PITA I would just do a spindle lift and some blocks it's easier but a little more expensive

Well with a body lift you need to buy gap guards there like 60-80 bucks depending what kit you get there is a kid on the forum that has like an 02-03 red screw with 2wd and he has a great looking truck I'll have to find him
