Default Lift Block Question/Problem

So I am wanting to put 2 inch lift blocks on my 2002 f150, but i have run into a big problem. To begin with the truck comes stock with a 9/16 u-bolts that measure 3.25 inside to inside and about 10 inches long so it stands to reason that I need a new u bolt that is about 12 inches long however no one has or can get them because the standard seems to be 3 inch inside to inside, so i need to know where the heck to get correct u bolts. The only option i have found so far is to up grade to a 5/8 u-bolt to get the correct size. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Look in the yellow pages. Getting new U-bolts custom made at a local spring shop is cheap and easy.
I always seem to need odd ball sizes for every thing I work on. Take an old one along with you if possible.

Yes the kits i have looked at come with u-bolts but none of them have been the right size the only place i have found that can get me the right stuff is a local 4 wheel parts store and they can only get the correct u-bolts if u change to a 5/8 inch u-bolt.

Also the local supplier quoted me a price of $65 for 2 inch blocks and new 5/8 u-bolt kit, does this sound like a good deal?

a little high but thats not outrageous

the kits you looked at with 9/16 bolts that were too small were around 45 right?
