Default Leveling Kit.

I've been looking into a 2" level for my 99' 2wd. I have a couple of questions for y'all. Which level would anyone suggest, i've seen ones that are rubber spacers like the daystar leveling kit and i've also seen ones that are replacement coils. Also, do I need to replace shocks if I level it 2 inches, if so what shocks would you recommend? And could I just replace the front shocks, then replace the rears at a later time when I get together the money? I'm trying to fit some 285/75/16's on my truck here in the next week or so.

thanks

I found a 2" rough country coil spring leveling kit, but it says it only allows for 31x10.5 tires... is this correct? or is that just a safe estimate. If so my dreams of 285/75/16's are shot. I have looked all over the place trying to find a 2" level for my truck and can't find one anywhere. The daystar website says they make a 2" for my truck, but I can't find a dealer anywhere that sells them.... I would really appreciate you guys help, I need to get this done very soon. My tires are smooth as eggs and its gettin pretty dangerous for me to drive.

I have a daystar 1.5 on my 97 2wd and 275s and have no rib at all I just couldnt afford 285s since I got hooked up with my tires now. I would think another half inch would definatley give you clearance for 285s! I thought the daystar website said you could run 285s fine with the 2 inch kit. I found mine on ebay for like 40 bucks shipped. Also suspension connection .com is a good site check there too. I didnt need new shocks for that but I am looking at skme new ones anyways

I wanted to get the daystar level, but I couldnt find a dealer anywhere that carried the 2" level for my truck. I just ended up ordering a Spring Tech kit from Canuck Motorsports off ebay. It has new 2" lift coils up front and 1.75" lift shackles for the rear. Im really excited to get it in.... time for some 33's now!!!
