Default tune up

I want to tune up my truck and would like to know how and on a scale of 1 to 10 how hard it is

Depends what all you consider doing in a full tune up. Hardest part will probably be the spark plugs and those aren't that hard with the right tools.

I paid someone $100 to do the plugs out of laziness. Everything else is straightforward.

I paid a local shop $130 and they bought the motorcraft plugs and a egr value since I didn't want to mess with the plugs. The rest is pretty easy

I guess I have lucked out so far and had no problems when changing plugs - it's tight. A good blast of compressed air will go far, clean all of the sh** out of the hole before you pull them for sure. And whats the deal with plugs getting blown out of the modular heads - I have had quite a few 4.6 engines over the years and never popped a plug.
Now that I have said something it's bound to happen to me !
