Turn up your torsions bars. Its free and does less wear and tear on your suspension. Just pay for an alignment afterwards.

K cranking up your torsion bars puts more wear and tear on your CV axles. ALOT of tires places wouldnt recommend it. So say right now you have 100% of life on your CV joints if you crank them up... Now you have 50% maybe less.

Not really... 50% decrease I call bs. And cranking the t-bars is the only way to level the 4wd 97-03 F150s..

Just crank your stock torsion bars to where it sits level and it's free.

I've had my torsions turned up for 4 years now and have had no extra wear on the suspension than normal. Just don't turn them up all the way

The 50% was a guess.

I just called the les schwab where i live and they don't even crank t bars cause of the stress it puts on the CV joints and bearings. And they dont even do torsion keys either cause it's the same thing.

you cant level a 97-03 4x4 without cranking up the torsion bars in some form or another. its either that or buy a full on lift. the cheapest out there is 999.00 for 4.5 inches. do what you want. ive had mine cranked for 2 years on the same frontend. no wear, tear, or squeaking. you can do it yourself with a jack, a socket, some penetrating oil, and a tape measure. just get an alignment when your done

you could also level it by taking the block out of the back, but im assuming you want height?

Just had mine cranked today with 1" blocks in the back. No significant difference in ride and I'm very pleased overall

I did it a couple of days ago and noticed that when I go in reverse the underside makes an annoying squeaking sound. Does anybody know what this is and how i can fix it?
