Question Level Lift

I have a 04 Heritage 2wd and want to put a level lift in it, i talked to a shop a year or so ago but i cant exactly remember, they said that i need to use lift spindles or swap out one of the control arms for a longer one. Does anyone have any tips.

you just want to level it? you could go with spindles or i have a 1.5 inch daystar leveling kit on mine now and its just a coil spacer you could go with that and not have to worry about control arms ill post the link to the thread i had awhile ago

I have an 04' Heritage, mines just a 4x4. i dont know if it makes a difference. but i have torsion bar suspension and I just cranked up my torsion keys and it brought the front end level, then i realigned my front tires, didn't have to buy anything, it just stiffened the ride a little but nothing extreme. If its a 2wd does it have coils?

Go for it you can get it for like 40 bucks shipped most places and you won't need any new shocks although I did because I broke the mounting bolts but that was operator error!

Be prepared for the front end to sag back down 1/2-3/4" from level after a while. Its happened on both trucks I've put spacers on. Id recommend lift coils.

As for shocks, I had to jack the lower a-arm up to get the top of the shock high enough to put the top nut on with stock shocks. Id suggest new shocks that are a little longer. They wont limit your travel as much(although putting on a spring or spacer lift reduces drop travel), will be able to handle larger tires and wheels better and can help maintain the ride loss you get from stiffer springs or spacers.
