Nope.. Just a little trimming to one tap on the lamp it self to hold the new bulb and swapped the connector. If I remember its a 891 55w driving lamp bulb from a Cadillac.

All I did was throw in Cree LED bulbs lol

I tried the cree's but they didnt project the light correctly and were very blurry. The halogen driving lights react perfectly with the reflector.

We also have different reflectors. As you can see in the pic it puts out two nice beams
