Default LED tail lights.

I want some smoked led tail lights for my 02 fx4 but I want something that is high quality and not gonna start burning out leds in a year or two. I want something that's gonna last. If anyone has any pictures of their trucks with led tails I would like to see them. Also if you know where I can get some at let me know. I'm also looking for some oem quality black lightning headlights if anyone knows where I can get those at for a decent price I would highly appreciate it. Thanks!!!

"good quality" aftermarket led taillights is an oxymoron, from what i've read they will not last as long as you would want them to, typically you will have leds going out one by one in short period of time. I just bought a set of black tail lights + lightining headlights from ebay and it looks great! I put some bright cree led bulbs and it works and looks awesome. The whole set was around 170$ ~ but you can get black lightning headlights as cheap as 115$ also from ebay. Goodluck on whatever you choose.

That sounds better. Do you have any pictures of your lights?

I went with a cheap set of black tail lights and some real nice CREE LEDs. Headlights on mine are the black Harley Davidson style.

What did you tint them with? I'm getting some smoked halo headlights in later this week and want to tint my taillights so everything matches up. Somebody suggested I use 2 coats of plasti dip and two coats of gloss.

Nooo. I used dip just to see what it would look like,it doesn't allow much light to come through and faded in no time. Use vht niteshade, its made for tail lights
