All I did was take the bulb outta the some light took headliner down (basically to hide wire from led) the just stripped the two wires for led and wrapped em around the posts of where the original bulb went for the some. Works like a charm for me. Srry I dont have pics of it.

I think it's the green one with an orange chaser, if you have a test light id use that, take the plug off the light, ground to the ceiling and put the test prong in one of the holes on the dome light then see which one only makes it come on when you open the door. One is always hot make so make sure not to get that one or you'll zap your battery.

There's the door light but you'd have to tear the door apart, it's not that big of a job to run it from the dome light, I have a hot wire ran from there for whenever I get around to doing door lights.

the dome light would probably be easiest to tap into if you want that to turn on when the doors open. unless you have the lights in your door which you could tap into those as well but would be more work than the dome light, ie removing door panel and running the wire through the door to the cab through the stock spot

I figured I could maybe tap in before they go to the door?

And blue. I ordered blue LEDs too from superbrightleds so I'll post pictures when it's all done.

I plan on doing the same thing, but is it also possible to have a switch where they can be turned on via a toggle? I am not an expert but in my rough understanding I dont think it is possible and thought I would ask.

Mine are on a switch, I pulled power from my KC lights because the LED's hardly draw. That way they are on when I want them and not just with the door.

Now if you want them on a switch and to come on with the door you can't, unless you have separate lights for each. Because the switch would run power back up to the dome light.
