Default larger tire

Hi all, have a 1998 reg cab f150 4wd. the tires looks small and out of portportion to the veh. what's the next larger tire size that I can utilize, and do I need new wheels to go with them. I'm not looking for monster size tires. just so that everything looks more portportional. thanks

What size do you have now? No you don't really need new wheels. I'm running 305's on 16x10's on mine and love the look.

Just a good size would be 285/75r16 nothing needs to change with any torsion bars or anything else. Should look good.

You should have no issues with a 285/70/16 or similar.

Heres so useful info when gauging your next set of tires to your older ones.

I have a 2wd no lift or level and running 265/75/16 no rubbing what do ever. So I think u could go 285/75/16 easy. That's my thoughts.
