I'm getting close to being done with replacing a 5.4 on my crew cab, and found the old knock sensor wires were shorted. Just wanted to see if anyone knows if there's a fuse for the knock sensor. Doesn't seem like there should be and I can't find it anywhere on fuse box diagrams, but I'd rather be sure. Among a leaky head gasket and broken timing chain guide, it probably wasn't helping my rough idle.

 

No fuse but yeah, those wires went bad on my old 5four as well.. About 165,000 miles. Still ran fine. Noticed when replacing intake gaskets,
