Default IWE Help

OK so i've been lurking a long time and learning a lot but now I've ran into something i am stumped with. I have an 02 f150 and I got the dreaded clicking noise from the front passengers side IWE. I first replaced the solenoid that did not fix it then proceeded onto the IWE itself. that piece was completely gone basically. It was a friday after 5 when i was doing it and the only place local I could get one from was NAPA (probably a mistake) anyway the clicking went away for about 2 weeks and now it is back. are the napa ones junk? Should I have went with a motorcraft one or is there something painfully obvious that I am missing?

thanks for any help

I really thought the clicking noises came from the 04-09 trucks with the vacuum hub. I've never heard of the 97-03 clicking. Is the solenoid itself what is clicking, or is it out on the hub you hear it?

These trucks do not have IWE. The clicking youre hearing is a bad cv axle.
