Default Inverter install

Hi I'm a first time poster but have learned tons from this site. I'm doing a 2000 watt inverter install on my 99 screw 4x4. Was looking for suggestions on passing the 4x 1/0 wires through the firewall. I will have them fused by the battery but still don't want to weld a hole in the truck and want to keep them short as possible. The inverter will be mounted under the pass seat. Any pointers would be admired

*Edit i have been looking and right under the ECU? on the passenger side there is a larger hole to the fender well, lookis like enough room between the inner fender and the cab to make the penetrations just looking for other suggestions as well before i drill and grommet the 4 wires through there.

Just so you know, inverters produce a lot of heat and needs proper air flow. By putting it under the passenger seat, there will be restricted air flow, with the possibility of items further restricting that air flow, and come winter time, there will be hot air from the heater flowing over it adding more heat.

thank you for the heads up, the inverter wont be used on a regular basis, mainly to run a skill saw and or operate a hurricane shutter motor when power isn't available. The thing was a life saver after Harvey hit us.

I agree with NFortin1966. I've seen one go up in flames without a load on it. Under a seat with flammable cushion foam might not be the best place for it.

Aren't those seats protected by a metal bottom?
