Question Interior Part Name or #

I bought a 2002 SuperCrew and the panel behind the back seat has been taken out. It would be good for some storage space. I would like to get a new one but don't know the part name or number. Can anyone help a me out?

If you are talking about the plastic trim it is by color. The Ford Basic part number is 3L3Z 16115A00 (???). The ??? are the color letters that give Ford the correct color. It is called the Back Lower Trim Panel. That is for a panel without rear storage compartment. It also has a different # for once that has a rear CD changer. All use from Ford the 16115A00 are the basic #. If you check with Ford, This piece is over 300 to 600 bucks. Very expensive for a piece of plastic. Hope this helps

Maybe I just didn't look in the right place but I could not find anything by that part #. I did find one by part name but no picture and it wasn't available. It it cost me $200-$400 I will just forget it. And I was talking about the one with the storage doors.

A black one for that year with the storage unit would be 3L3Z 16115A00 AAB

Dark graphite is the same number with ending BAC

Med Graphite is the same number with ending BAB

Parchment is the same number with ending BAA

Parchment K/Ranch is the same number with ending AAA

Checking with Ford, most of these numbers are now obsolete. If you know your color from above, take the number with the 3 letter codes, call your dealer and he can research if any dealer has what you want available. Most of the older parts like these, will only have 1 color still available if any, and that would have to be painted to match. Parts like these go into Obsolescence and become no longer available, 5 years after the last model year.

A good wrecking yard would be the way to go. $50-75 for a part used is alot better than what they want for new, if it would still be findable. Good luck
