Default Interior Mods

Im sure there are some posts on here about his but i am looking for ideas to upgrade my interior. Looking for rather cheap but nice upgrades such as gauge faces and things like that. i have blue leds in the doors door and under dash, an alpine deck with two 12 inch subs. other than that i am stock inside. looking for something to chagne it up i have done alot on the outside and want to bring it inside. looking for what you guys think. maybe like painted dash pieces like the boss edition, camo headliner, anything im kinda drawing a blank right now for ideas. just let me know thanks, my truck is blacked out btw incase that would come into the picture. thanks in advance can post pics of inside if asked

hmmm, i know someone did a writeup on changing the gauges color, it was pretty cheap but you gotta take the dash apart... Dunno if its something youd wanna do, but you could put an expedition console in it if that was something that intrests you.. You could raise the back seat to put a few subs underneath. I know if you search the last two here, there have been some pretty recent threads on them, but for the gauge display ill see if i can find the thread, it was either on here a WHILE ago, or on a different f150 site...

This is probably where i would get them from, but im one of those people that if i do it once, i never want to have to do it again, so i would spend the extra cash to get the better bulbs! I can't find the exact ones, but if i had to get some for myself, id go with them. On the other websites, they were like 6 bucks for one bulb.

that sounds like a pretty good deal and it looks good and it alot cheaper than doing a whole gauge face. i wanna do like the ash tray and stuff too now. how do you feel about painting some of the interior pieces i think it might look a little cheap but idk ive seen some that look good. i cant think of anything else

hmmm, idk about that, even if you did a coat of primer, 3 coats of paint, and a clear with a UV protector, i just dont think it would last very long..... what color did you have in mind?

i was probs going to do black to match the outside. and i was only gonna do like the pieces by my door handles, the trim piece around the radio and around the steering wheel and the piece that blocks sun for the gauges like underneath kinda. thought it might brake it up nicely and i dont think those few pieces would be an issue with sun cuz its not the front of the dash you know?

I've seen our trucks in scrapyards around here that have sat there for months and months with painted pieces on the dash. each of them, the paint held up extremely well and showed no signs of fading.

Just be careful about the paint you use and what parts of the dash you paint and it should look awesome
