Default Interior lighting ideas

Well, I feel as though I need more light in my cab, and to be able to separate my amber can lights from my possible white ones. I'm looking for a way to add more lights in my cab and a way to switch them over, maybe another light assembly that doesn't look jerryrigged. Any ideas would be great, and since I'm an electrician it should be no problem to wire them up just a don't have much of an idea. The all bet set up I have right now is pretty cool for looks, but I need something practical for when I'm looking for something because they make it hard to see around.

Why not just remove the terminal that holds the bulb in either Passenger/Driver side map lights and install it at the center. You can also put the amber light on the map lamp and switch the wiring to make the map lights switch turn ON the Center white light.

I thought about that, but I just don't see a way of making it look good. I was thinking maybe finding some smallish reflector type dome lights and mounting them in front of the seats, directly above the dash, maybe a couple inches from the windshield with some really bright LEDs and running my power for those off of the map lights.

Why not just put white LEDs in the map lights on the switch and leave the amber as the door light

Well I've got Amber LEDs in my door lights as well. It's a theme I've got going with my truck I was just trying to find a way to get some auxiliary lights with some pretty bright LEDs.

I thought about that, but they just didn't seem that bright, so I never turn them on.

My 16SMD bulbs in the map lights are plenty bright to read with or find something in the floor and it's a simple fix if you're not wanting anything to look out of place

I'll check that out browning, and do you know if there are clear replacement lenses for our dome lights?
