Default Interior Door Light? (or reflector?)

Good Day All;

I have been lurking for a few months. But now I need to trouble everyone for some info. I searched this Forum and the Internet…cannot find the info.

I have a 2003 Crew Cab. On the front doors, near the door latch – there are red “lights.” Are they indeed lights or are they just reflectors? If they are lights…mine do not light up. I guess before I go looking for a blown fuse I want to make sure they are not reflectors.

Also if they are lights when “should” they illuminate?

Thanks for the help, and sorry for the long winded question.

Cheers!

They are lights. just pop the covers off to see if the bulbs are burnt out.

Default Lights are not there?

OK, Ty answered my origional question which caused this one:

I poped of the covers and I have 2 holes where lights should be. Where these lights on all doors? ie: Every truck that has these covers have lights under them?

Call me lazy but I don't want to takethe interior panles of my doors off if there aren't any lights in there. That is assuming the connections fell into the door.

Thanks, and sorry to be a PITA.

I actually accidentally pushed one of the connectors into the door while changing the lights, so its a posibility that they got pushed into the door.

Anybody happen to know what the part number is for these covers? Or a source for them? My passenger door lens/cover/reflector has gone missing and my local Dealer parts desk tells me they don't sell it separate, only the entire door panel. Not what I'm after. I've spent a lot of time in yards over the past couple weekends, and doors just seem to not exist

Any help on where to find OEM or aftermarket door lens/covers would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Randal K

wow this is old but I am bringing it back up. I also pushed mine through into the door as well. I am going to take my door panel off and get it back into place, but before I do that I want to swap out the bulbs with LEDs, does anyone know the bulb number? or what size it is so I can replace them?
