Default interior coloring

I have seen some people have painted there radio bezel etc on there trucks? I have the standerd light brownish interior and I wanna dress it up a bit what shall I do?

They make specific paint for interior plastics. Make sure it is clean. The paint they sell for it basically absorbs into the plastic/vinyl

What color were you guys thinking? Could I do plasti dip first to see if I like it and if I do i can just peel it off and buy the interior paint

Yes you can if you want white or black, if you want it to match your truck you can't. You can do just interior paint but you're kind of limited on colors. As Venomized stated you definitely want the plastic clean of all dirt, lint, and armor all stuff. Most people clean it super good with simple green first. When painting plastics I've had great luck when I used an adhesion promoter(I've always used duplicolor, 2-3 coats) then put on 3-4 light coats of color, then 3 coats of gloss clear and it matches the truck very well.

Some interior pieces I did on my friend's Chevy, and they still look just as good nearly 6 months later

Wipe it down with rubbing alcohol before spraying promoter or any paint on it. This takes off ALL the residue from dirt, armor all, moisture etc.

DO NOT use simple green!!!!! It will leave a film and cause the paint to bubble or peel up after time.

Depends what pieces most of them dash/door stuff you can remove just is held on with clips and you just pop it off

Yeah I've always used alcohol too never simple green
