Default Installing stuff, needs help with wiring

Hey guys, I'm putting in a couple gauges, I need to know what wires are:
Switched 12V headlamp source (+)
Constant 12 volt source (+)
And a switched 12 volt source (+)
Vehicle ground (-)

I got my wire harnesses for the gauges fed in through the light / dimmer panel next to the steering wheel, I would be able to get that info my self, but I don't have my volt meter with me

Nah I don't think it would work, the A/C test light picks up alternating current, if it's not alternating it will just read it as a dead circuit

The red/yellow wire gets hot when you turn on the headlight switch. If it does not then your headlight switch is bad.

Once you have power on the red/yellow wire at the multi-function switch the red/black should be hot when you turn them on low beam and the light green/black will get hot when you turn it on high beams. But you have to have power on the red/yellow wire and the multi-function switch hooked up for this to happen. Just hook your test light into the back side of the connector to test for which lead you want.
