Default Installing foglights

Is it easy to install fog lights on a base model truck without fog lights? It has the fuse and the light **** pulls out for the fog lights. If they is already instructions somewhere i'd appreciate being directed there.

If your switch does not have the fog light symbol printed on it. It does not have the contacts or pins in it. You will need a new switch. They all pull out.

Not sure if that is 100% accurate, but could be wrong. Mine does not have the fog light on the switch nor fog lights. But, I have the wiring harness under the front bumper for them to plug into. I haven't checked the actually switch but can only assume that since the harness is there the pinout would be as well.

If you have the wiring under the bumper then all you need is the lights and the switch. Mine was plug and play once I put in the switch. You really don't have much work to do now, just get yourself a switch and lamps and lenses and you are set.

If the harness is there why wouldn't they add the contacts to the switch? Doesn't make sense, but easy enough to change out I guess.

You want to get real goofy, mine has the fog light symbol on it, but my truck doesn't have fog lights from the factory. I don't know if the harness is there or not, haven't thought to look.
