heres how mine goes. then it goes through the flap thing. looks clean, not permanent, not much coax wire needed(I bought 6ft and have a lot of extra at the end)

Wow that looks good....I would love that set up, but for now i'll wear out my little antena till I get a good deal on those whips.
I got it all installed and it worked fine till I started the truck and keyed the mike..............it's now coming thru my sub.......what theeeeeeeeeeeee

did you ground the cb good? and is the coax close to the the amp or rca cables? or the power cord?

the same thing happened to me, i just ran the cb antena line away from the wires for the sub and it fixed it

Yes I will check my wires, I think I did cross my antena wire over one of the RCA cables..........If so would a bit of tin foil do the trick if they have to cross over???

im not sure about the tin foil never heard of that but if they crossed then thats your problem just run it as far away as you can from the rca cables and you will be fine and did you ground your radio to the frame?

ok cause thats one of the biggest things to make sure that you did and but once you gt them wires uncrossee you should be fine

Yes got her working right, had an RCA cable running to close to the antenna wire.....all good now.

Now I just have an anoying hum in my sub all the time, but noticed that if I put the E-brake on (the daytime lights go off) the hum goes away??? Maybe if I relocate the power wire for my sub amp in the fuse box????
