Shoot, I'm sorry I posted the wrong link, here's the correct one - http://www.brucekimball.com/shocks/truck_shocks_1.cfm.

Thanks for catching that!

Undo the nut on top and undo the nuts on the bottom, pull old shock out. Install new shock, install top nut, install bottom nuts. Tighten them all down...it's pretty simple. The back is a little more of a PITA!

you don't have to compress the springs or anything to get the strut out? I need to have mine done... if it's that easy I'll do them myself!

Strut??? You have shocks if you have a 97-03 model. The shock runs thru the middle of the springs. Nothing to compress, you're good to go.

My Mistake!

Thanks - everytime I go over a bump I'm getting air! Now that I can do it myself I'll get right on it!

Was just looking for an estimated time on front shock install, figured I'd just bump this thread to the top instead of making my own. Anyone have an estimated time, and does anyone know what size the bottom bolt is? Skyjackers don't come with bolts and I'd like to just get new ones. I'm trying to decide if I'll have time to do it before I have to leave in the morning.

It took me probably thirty minutes maybe to do both the front shocks
