Yeah, i know a guy that lives around my area wif a 97 4.6. Last time i seen his truck it had around 350,000 or 360,000. Same engine, same tranny. Neither have been rebuilt, only thing i know of is he put a rear end under at 300,000 miles.

 

That's a clean looking rig for that many miles. My dad's '87 ranger has over 400k with the original motor/tranny. The clutch is about to be replaced, but other then that, it runs like a top.

ive got 325,000 kms and a guy i know in the next town over has 535,000 kms, still original

 

gotta love Ford

 

i once saw an 07 f350 for sale for $4000 with 450k on it and that was back in late 08 or early 09
