Have a 2003 4.6. Nothing I see online helps locate the impact sensors

Google crash sensors 03 F150
Crash and safing sensors
Crash sensors front of vehicle
Safing at cowl (newer ones in both front doors) (impact sensors)
Both your crash sensors should be in front of the radiator on brackets at the bottom

I have google, youtubed, everything. There are no sensors or wires going to the areas suggested.

Bumper and grille are off. No sensors in sight

Maybe somebody took all that stuff off your truck
Are you fighting the air bag lamp on or a code for the sensors?

There's a good reason you can't find them, there aren't any that are external to the RCM.

The '04 NBS was the first f150 with external impact sensors. The 04 Heritage used the same system as the 03 and prior.

You're confusing the inertia switch for the fuel pump with the airbag system.

Does this therefore mean up untill '04 the module has the sensor inbuilt?
