Default Idle issue when I put in drive.

Truck runs great but sometimes when I put it in drive the idle drops low and the engine acts like it needs a tune up. Any ideas?

Thanks

OEMs. if you wanna save yourself a lot of cussing and gettin pissed at your truck let a shop do the plugs. mine was 150 with an oil change and air filter and they bought the plugs and everything. ive done plugs before and it was well worth it imo

5.4 plugs hard to do?

My truck needs the works so I'm going to get started when I get home and that's on my list along with dif fluid, trans fluid, oil, fuel filter... etc

I have a local shop but want to make sure they get the correct plugs. Just tell them to match the oem correct?

thats what i would do. theres nothing wrong with motorcraft and there way cheaper than the E3s or whatever and they do just as good a job burnin.

FFL if your mechanically inclined its not too hard, i just dont like doin em. you have to take off other stuff before you can even see the plugs

I would do the plugs and fuel filter. But be careful. My number plug stripped out and I had to get a steal insert. If it still idles bad it
may be idle air control.
