Default how to remove window??

hey guys so i want to tint my windows this weekend and it looks like the only problem i will have is my extended cab window, how do you go about removing those? i see there are two square bolts on one side of the window so im guessing a square head screwdriver or something like that. but what about the handle used to open it? it looks like a wrench but but i could be wrong i was hoping someone here has replaced them before and could give me a little more info on the subject

I tinted my windows on my 02 and those were very easy you'll want to use the square bit it's like an s20 or something like that or a small pocket screwdriver may get the job done if you don't have that particular bit I have a huge tool set that had it in there but for the latch I took the whole latch bracket off at the door frame by pulling the phillips acres out and used a 7/16 wrench I believe to loosen the backing nut then unsrewed the screw from the outside of glass pretty cut and dry if you have some mechanical background

I'd also have someone help if you're going to do the other door windows I did it by myself and didn't have enough hands just a suggestion other than that turned out really well I used 2.5% tint though and it's he'll to see at night recommend 5%

If you are having trouble taking the window out...you do not have to remove the window. Look up on YouTube how to do it without removing the window and it should save you the hassle.

Thanks for the input guys! I wanted to make sure it was just the 3bolts and nothing fancy. I've tinted all my vehicles myself and usually only have problems with the rear windshields but I figured if I could remove the whole window it would look cleaner and I wouldn't have to cut around as much. The front doors are pretty big but I'm going to remove the panels so it shouldn't be too bad because there's quite a bit of gap for the tint to slide on. What have y'all done about the back windows that are 3 pieces bc I know the slider window has the latch that is double sided taped on there and I don't want to cut around it?

So I went ahead and just took them out to tint them and it tirned out pretty nice. The only thing I don't like is how the ext cab windows are mirrored so it still shows through. I went 5% all the way around and I'm going to have the windshield done 35%.

Does anyone know if the rolls of tint you can buy at Autozone or walkers will be long enough for the front windshield?

You can get the wide rolls of tint off eBay for like big rv windows. The AUTOZONE rolls aint wide enough but they are long enough
