how to program overhead console for yr 03
hi im a new here and just bought an 03 f150 supercrew and just replace my overhead console the one that shows compass and temp.
well any way i plug it in and the only thing showing are "CAL and VAR"
VAR shows when i hold down select button.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

At the risk of being thrown into a looney tunes ward, this is what my 02 manual says to do. Find large area free of steel structures and high voltage lines. Press and hold SELECT control untill CAL appears (Appx 8 seconds) and release. Drive vehicle slowly (less than 3MPH) in circles until CAL indicator turns off in about 2-3 circles. The compass is now calibrated. Good luck, I'll write.
