Yeh. I tend to rack up the miles. It's nothing for me to do 3 or 4 tanks of gas on a busy week. I would love to buy a new truck but the depreciation would hurt my feelings. Lol

My son is now driving my 01 f150 screwcab 4.6L which just past 278,000 mi. He is looking forward to the 300,000 mark. No major repairs other than heater core, multiple coil packs and just today a used wiper motor and linkage. Of course, tires, shocks, brakes etc over the years. Bought it in 04 with 40,000 on it. Have to say most of the mileage is highway. Feel like that is what has kept it running so well over the years.

Just ticked 58,250 miles over the weekend on my 2003 SCab FX4 4x4. I feel like such a novice. Guess it should be a good runner for a while yet.

you'd think logically you'd have less issues with a 13 year old truck with -60K miles than a 13 year old truck with 120K, sometimes it's not true. These trucks get cranky when sitting for awhile. I don't think I'd want a 10th gen with under 60K unless it was garage kept and started and run up and down the block every weekend.

I think it would be just fine if it was maintained correctly for that situation and proper measures were taken for its lack of use.
