Just hit 263k miles, 1997 F150 XLT 4x4, 5.4L Triton V8, E40D trans, Scab w/ 8ft bed. Dad ordered it new and 27 years later I still drive it almost daily. Original engine, trans rebuilt once, mostly problem free. Have replaced normal wear and tear like plugs and coil packs, serpentine belt, shocks, control arms, tie rods. Only thing now is a leaky heater core, currently have it bypassed but will replace this fall.
