how do you remove the fender emblems?

Default how do you remove the fender emblems?

I want to remove my emblems and paint them. can i remove them and put them back on? Or once i remove them are they no good? And what's to safest way to go about this?

They can be replaced you just need to get some new 3m tape at an auto store. I used a hair dryer and wiggling some fishing line behind it. There are 2 locator pins on each fender emblem that just kinda sit in the holes to line them up

Ok i see and can i just put the new tape on 4 points of the emblem or do i have to cover the whole emblem with tape?

I would just tape them off on the truck and paint them. Thats what I have done with all of my emblems, would save a lot of time, and you dont have to worry about new tape or breaking off tabs.

Use 3m painters tape (blue tape). Best tape you can use without damaging your body paint. I used it when I blacked mine out but make sure you mask it off good.
