Plasti dip is basically a paint that can be pulled off. I dipped my fenders, reflectors, grille, emblems and a few other things about a month ago and it's stayed on through all my hell raisin so far. I recommend it if you're looking for a cheap easy fix.

So if you don't like it, you can peel it off?

okay so you can pull it off I didn't know that I was looking for a more permanent fix anyway.
I still don't know how its applied where to get it what it looks like?
does it come in a can or what?
can I just spray this stuff on my truck?
is there a way to make it permanent
how much does it cost?

I have seen plenty of people showing off what they did with it but now how?
I'm ready for the details?

I grittle is looking pretty faded as well I would probably do that to.
and some other stuff.

at this point i'm trying to deside if I should get some some prymer some clear coat and some non drip black spray pain or should I go the plasti dip rought?

sorry for my horad spelling.

To answer your question Home Depot sells it and it comes in spray cans, hope this helps. I believe it comes in different colors. Auto supply stores should sell it also.

Yeah That's what I want to do to my truck but mine is forest green and its a 97 body style hell I cant even tell the color of your truck from that picture.
how old is your dip?

I was thinking about going with gun metal gray with a can of gloss over that.

the truck is actuly to tone silver and forest green. I and I think the gun medal color maches the color it all ready is pretty well.
did you just use one can of mate black?
