I currently have 25% on the front and 5% on the back, but i'm wanting to go with 5% on the front too..i'm just worried about getting stopped for it.

So has anyone ever gotten stopped just for their tint? If so, how much was the ticket?

 

I got stopped when I lived in Ohio and had my ranger got ticket for tint and no seatbelt. The funny thing is tint cost more than the seat belt. Well not funny when I ha to pay it. I don't recall the exact amine but I do believe it was I've 120. Right now u got the max I can go in Texas on the sides. I think it's 30 I think. Ad the back I have so dark u can barley see outta of it in day lolol.

 

East fix, drive with your windows down. I think my boss has 30% up front. It seems perdect in florida. Except ou cant see the mirrors at night. But this summer ive locked the truck up and came back in an hour and it was still relatively cool

right now i have a fish bowl! but i will be puting 35% thats the legal limit around here m.d .. even tho i was pulled over in the g6 with the 35% and he tried to say it was illegal so i told him to kick rocks and i will see you in court i won lol.. my back is already tinted pretty dark not sure what % but where i am from i can paint it black lol

 

I have 2.5% limo on my front doors and 5% on the others but don't go less than 5% I can't see sh*t at night!!! And knock on wood haven't been stopped for it here in OK

 

My back windows were already tinted when I bought so not sure on those. But I have 15% on my front two and a 5% eyebrow on the windshield. Just roll your windows down when you get pulled over.

 

I have limo tint all the way around (Screw). Knock on wood but I haven't been pulled over yet. HOWEVER I have been pulled over on all my other cars I've had in the past (G35, Mustang, and Camaro). I was pulled over once in my truck when I had about 25% on the fronts.

I think it's a hit or miss and area dependant on whether or not you get pulled over.

And limo tint is difficult to see at night (especially if trying to reverse into a spot or parallel park)

 

Had limo tint when I first got the truck and got pulled over twice, once cruzing and another on the interstate coming back four wheeling, and the second time I just got a notice to correct that an officer had to sign off on tint strip, all 4 and back windows and illegal exhaust. Where I live they don’t have tint readers so I showed them just the 4 side window tint I took off and they signed off on it all...idiots. Now I have limo still on the back and front strip and 20% on the sides.

 

I have 5% all around and I have had it for about 3 years. No ticket yet.lol
