Default High engine idle speed

After the engine would stall when started up we had the idle air control valve replaced, no more stalling but now the idle speed is now 1100 rpm and seems to be getting worse! Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

A vacuum leak can make idle high and almost uncontrollable? I guess a new IAC could be bad out of the box.

Well 1100 rpms isn't anywhere near uncontrollable. I agree with Sam, vac leak (could easily be) or a bad IAC.

730 rpms is dead nuts. Between 700-750 Ford calls good. From what I've seen, the idle in these trucks is @ 730 rpms when everything's right.

A small vacuum leak would set off a CEL. If there is a check engine light check the codes. A faulty IAC can can it as well. A large vacuum leak will cause a missfire and idle to drop..
