Default Hid recommendations

Have tried searching, but for some reason searching for "hid" comes up with nothing...

Anyway, where did you guys get your hid kits from or what brand are they? A quick google comes up with a million results and they all look the exact same but with wildly varying prices. I know Philips are supposed to be the best, but I just can't afford them.
Also, 35w or 55w? I love out in the middle of bfn, so all my driving is in the country. I would like to do my fogs, dipped and high beams all together.

Cheers.

check out ddmtuning.com

I have 55w in my headlights and 35w in the fogs. I've only had mine for a few months, but have had no problems.

vvme is also a good company to get them from, most of the "cheap" HID all use the same xentec type of ballast and just put their sticker on it.

Had a friend that got HIDs from DDMtuning and they quit working after 6 months. I would say be careful getting cheap ones. You get what you pay for.

x2

I have been lucky with one of those "other" brands. I have had the same 35w bulbs and ballasts for nearly two years and no discoloration. And for 32 dollars on ebay, I can't complain. I am working now, so I can't go check the brand. but I will let you know.

Just had some put in yesterday. Not sure what kind they were, but they really interfere with the radio for some reason.

That's me ordered 55w kits for my highs and fogs from xtremehid.com as they seem to be one f the few kits that claim
to be waterproof and were a good price... Will update as and when
